Plenty of sunshine
A vast area of high pressure determines the weather in the Alps. It will be bright and sunny with mostly cloudless skies. The foehn winds will gradually cease. In the Pustertal we expect a cold eastern wind. Strong morning frost in the higher valleys, maximum temperatures reach -2° in Alta Val Pusteria and +8° in Bassa Atesina.

Mostly sunny
Tuesday will be sunny with a few passing high clouds.
Quite sunny weather is also expected on Wednesday. At times, the sky will be crossed by irregular cloudiness. In the valleys along the main Alpine ridge it will be windy due to northerly foehn.
On Thursday, the sun will shine again with mostly clear skies.
Friday will remain sunny and often cloudless. It will be noticeably milder on the mountains, with the zero degree line rising to over 2500 m.
