Three ski areas call the Tauferer Ahrntal home, and all offer superlatives, such as the mountain railway with the highest elevation gain at Speikboden, the highest eight-person gondola in South Tyrol at Klausberg, and, with two-and-a-half kilometres of slopes, probably the slickest, smallest ski area in Rein in Taufers. On the other hand, the adjacent Kronplatz is, with its huge 116 kilometres of slopes, the largest ski mountain in the country.
In the Tauferer Ahrntal ski region, children are in good hands.
Whether it’s the “ski kindergarten,” the mini/and junior-ski club, or Klausi-Land – the possibilities are many, and even the youngest have lots of fun. The ski kindergarten at the Klausberg ski area and the mini-ski club at Speikboden promise the best care for the little ones.
On your ski vacation, you can leave the car behind. Our residence lies directly at the bus stop: in 20-minute intervals, the ski shuttle takes you directly to the Klausberg (~ 6 km) and Speikboden (~ 2.5 km) ski lifts. The shuttle busses take you to and back from the weekly ski shows.
From the Speikboden ski area, you can get (if snow conditions are good) directly to Luttach on your skis or your toboggan.

The SkiMobileDolomites Card grants the user unlimited use of the ski shuttles in the Puster Valley (incl. Val Badia), as well as all public transportation (including the regional train) throughout South Tyrol. You get the ticket for free at our house.
